Jonathan WarmDayComing’s reading at the library | Books

It wasn’t the warmest of Taos mornings the day Jonathan WarmDayComing held his book reading/signing (Nov. 12), but the quiet little lecture hall inside the Taos Public Library was filled with all the love and warmth that comes from reading children’s stories .

The first book WarmDayComing pulled out of his library was his first book, “Taos Pueblo: Painted Stories.” WarmDayComing explained to the crowd that the book came in a roundabout way. “I had a friend. Her name was Helen Victor. It was her advice to make the book. I began saving certain images — just for note cards and, gradually, I had enough images. So my friend suggested maybe you should think about putting those images into a book,” said WarmDayComing.
