•Smarty Pants story time for ages 2 to 5 will meet from 10 to 10:30 am Thurs., Dec., 8, 15, 22 and 29.
•Making a Treasure Map at 4 pm Tues., Nov. 29. Create maps to find hidden treasures and develop spatial thinking skills for ages 5 to 12 with a parent or caregiver. Register in advance at the library or online at Visit. LACountyLibrary.org/Events.
All book clubs, unless otherwise noted, meet in person at 2 pm on the scheduled dates with a Zoom meeting discussing the same book at 6:30 pm same day.

• The Mystery Book Club will discuss “Finlay Donavan is Killing It” by Elle Cosmano. on Wed., Dec. 7.
•The Romance Book Club will cover “The Warlord” at 11 am Sat., Dec. 10.
•The Nonfiction Book Club will discuss “Trailed: One Woman’s Quest to Solve the Shenandoah Murders” by Kathryn Miles on Tues., Dec. 13.
•The Friends of the Agoura Hills Library Book Cellar is now open from 10 am to 4 pm Saturdays.

The library will be closed for Christmas and New Year’s Eve from Dec. 23 through 26 and Sat., Dec. 31, and will be open from 11 am to 3 pm Fri., Dec. 30.

Preschool story time for ages 3 to 5 is 1:30 pm Tuesdays.
Lap sit for up to 24 months is 10:30 am, and toddler story time for ages 2 to 4 is 11 am, both on Thursdays,
•The Writers’ Corner Club for students in grades three through seven will be at 3:30 pm Sat., Dec. 3 on Zoom. The club is hosted by library staff and run by high school students. No experience in creative writing is necessary; the club is for fun. For a child to participate and receive the Zoom meeting information, parents/guardians need to email the child’s name, school and grade to Karilyn Steward at [email protected]
•Study Buddies tutoring for students will be held by appointment Tues., Dec. 6 and 13 on Zoom. Times are available at 4, 4:30 and 5 pm Tutoring is done by Advanced Placement and honors high school students. Sign-up is required on the library website. For more information, email [email protected]
