Beloved Actor & Masked Singer Guest Panelist Leslie Jordan Passes Away

Beloved actor and comedian Leslie Jordan has died at the age of 67. Leslie previously delighted his many fans as a Masked Singer guest panelist.

Leslie Jordan, the beloved actor and comedian who was also a guest panelist on The Masked Singer, has died. Leslie had many film and television credits to his name, and was best known for his scene-stealing comedic roles including Beverley Leslie on Will & Gracefor which he received an Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series in 2006. He was also known for his most recent work in the American Horror Story franchise and the sitcom The Cool Kids. At the time of his death, he was playing the lovable character Phil on the sitcom Call Me Kat. Leslie was also a guest panelist on The Masked Singer. He brought joy and hope to people during the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown when he became an online sensation with his viral videos.


According to TMZ, law enforcement sources said that Leslie was driving in Hollywood on Monday, Oct. 24 when he suffered a suspected medical emergency and crashed his BMW into the side of a building. Leslie was 67 years old. On the day before his death, Leslie posted an Instagram video of himself singing a hymn on Sunday morning with songwriter Danny Myrick. In the caption, he wrote that Danny had helped him write an original song that will be coming out soon.

Leslie Jordan Will Make A Final Appearance On The Masked Singer

Leslie is scheduled to appear in an episode of The Masked Singer season 8. Fans assume that he will be on the Comedy Roast theme night episode. During season 6, he appeared as a guest panelist and wore the Soft Serve mask, singing “This Little Light of Mine” before revealing himself and joining Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong, and Nicole Scherzinger. He later returned as a guest panelist in season 7.

Although it is not clear how The Masked Singer will address Leslie’s tragic death, there is sure to be some kind of tribute to him. His episode was already filmed, but it is hard to imagine that the Masked Singer panel and host Nick Cannon would not want to pay their respects in some way. They loved him just as much as everyone else did. He will be missed on future seasons of The Masked Singer.

Leslie was truly a bright light in the world, especially during the dark times of the pandemic shutdown. Many people have said that his videos were the only things that made them laugh during such a tragic period. Leslie made people happy, and his joy was infectious. He brought pizzazz and kindness to everything he touched, including The Masked Singer.
