Maren Morris and Brittany Aldean’s beef revisited

As reported by Billboard, on August 23, Brittany posted a makeup video with a caption saying, “I’d really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase. I love this girly life. “

The entrepreneur later doubled down on her views with an Instagram story posted on August 26 writing (per Billboard), “Advocating for the genital mutilation of children under the disguise of love and calling it ‘gender-affirming care’ is one of the worst evils . “

She continued, “I will always support my children and do what I can to protect their innocence.”

The mother of two further said, “Love is protecting your child until they are mature enough as an adult to make their own life decisions.”

Brittany’s comments on gender identity did not sit well with many including Maren.

Maren took to Twitter and infamously called Brittany “Insurrection Barbie” and further deemed her ‘hypocritical’ and ‘hateful’ (per Billboard).

The country singer also pointed out how the conservative celebrity had previously pictured her kids wearing t-shirts with political messaging against President Biden.

Brittany addressed the beef during her interview with Tucker Carlson reportedly referring to Maren as “lunatic country music person,” as per Billboard.

However, the songstress took the words and printed them on merchandise meant to support GLAAD’s Transgender Media Program and the Trans Lifeline. She revealed in a recent tweet that they have raised over $ 100K.

She also revealed her excitement for the upcoming tour saying, “I’ve got my tour rolling, I’ve got my husband, I’ve got my son. I have an amazing team around me and amazing fans, ”she said continuing,“ So I think that like, yeah, it’s been good. I just kind of throw myself into tour.
