Panelist Jenny McCarthy correctly guessed Knight’s identity. Other guesses included David Hasselhoff from Ken Jeong and John Lithgow as Nicole Scherzinger’s guess. While William had a lot of fun during his The Masked Singer performance, he unfortunately couldn’t hear a thing. The actor told People about the technical difficulty that occurred while in the Knight costume. Some of the guesses for Knight throughout the premiere included Weird Al Yankovic and Jerry Springer. When asked if he thought these guesses were insulting, William admitted he didn’t hear the panelists make those guesses. “I couldn’t hear them. I have no idea. I think I heard my name or something. I wasn’t sureThe Masked Singer contestant said.

The actor added, “I know they called my name. I took the headdress off, and I don’t know anything else that transpired.“He also had a tough time hearing throughout his The Masked Singer performance, which made it difficult to sing along to the song. “I couldn’t hear the orchestra. I couldn’t see anybody – the people, dancers. It was bizarre,“the actor said. Luckily the star was still able to finish his performance, and the live studio audience was really enjoying it.
