BEING parents to 22 children must be hard, right?
Well, Sue and Noel Radford, parents of Britain’s biggest family, have revealed that they are going to take some much needed couple time to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary.
Sue Radford, 46, and her husband Noel, 51, from Morecambe, Lancashire, took to Instagram to tell their followers that they have booked an ‘unbelievable’ getaway, for just the two of them, to celebrate the occasion.
The pair are just weeks away from celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary and wanted to mark the special occasion together.
The married couple are parents to Chris, 33, Sophie, 28, Chloe, 27, Jack, 25, Daniel, 23, Luke, 21, Millie, 21, Katie, 19, James, 18, Ellie, 17, Aimee, 16, Josh, 15, Max, 13, Tillie, 12, Oscar, 10, Casper, nine, Hallie, seven, Phoebe, six, Archie, four, Bonnie, three, and Heidie, two.
Sadly the couple’s 17th child Alfie was still born on July 6, 2014.
The family famously doesn’t rely on benefits and is supported by their pie shop business.
The Radfords, who live in a 10-bed former care home, are the largest family in Britain and have gained a large following on social media where they often share details of their millionaire lifestyle.
They also have their own Channel 5 TV show called 22 Kids & Counting and have recently returned home from an amazing trip to Florida.
Now they have returned home and the children have started back at school, the parents’ attention has turned to their upcoming wedding anniversary.
They had an idea of booking a mini-break to celebrate 30 years of marriage, but were ‘hesitant’ to leave their children.
Writing on Instagram, they said: “It’s also our 30th wedding anniversary in just over 2 weeks. 30 YEARS.

“We’re so close to booking a break away for 4 nights just the two of us but I’m so hesitant about leaving the kids. Should we just go for it. We’ll book it on yes or no so GOOO.”
They added a poll to the Instagram story and a huge 97% voted ‘Yes’, that the couple should go away together.
Sue and Noel then wrote: “Your messages have been so so lovely and reading them out to the kids has made me feel so emotional.
“They’ve all been going ‘aww that’s so lovely and you should definitely do it mum and dad’.
“So thank you so much, we are going to book it. Eekkkk.”
Sue came to the conclusion that she needed to start taking time for herself after visiting a medium while on holiday.
She added: “I had a reading done… while I was on holiday and the one thing that stood out was that she said I’m always thinking about making other people happy and I’m always worrying about other people to make sure they are happy which is SO true and that I don’t take time for myself.
“I sat and thought how true that was and I really do need to start taking time for myself so matter how hard that is with so many children.
“It’s a very important part of life.
“We give so much to our children that we forget how important it is to take time out.”
Sue then went on to tell her followers that her and Noel had booked their holiday with the help of @escape_savvy.
Writing on Instagram stories, Escape Savvy wrote: “Wow! What a day helping the amazing the @theradfordfamily book the most unbelievable, deserved and special break for their incredible 30th wedding anniversary!
“Honored to help you with such a special trip.”
